not much going on here

there is not much other than the everyday to write about. we get up we go our ways. we come home and then sleep. simple life. a great life. every once in a while we do some super fun stuff. so here are a few pictures of things we did since we last posted (not too much recent). caution: images may cause drowsiness and maybe a few smiles.animal farms,

U2 360

just over a week ago my big sister calls me up and asks, "what are you doing on saturday the 21st?" and of course i reply that i'm not doing much - just busy with the whole rapture thing and about 5 other important events we were planning to attend - not too much on my agenda. then she blows me away with the next question, "do you want to go see U2?" it took me a while to take this in - the short end of it was this: for their anniversary (19 years ! way to go!), her husband was treating her to a weekend trip to denver to see U2 and my hubby and i were invited to go along with them. of course we were responsible for accommodations

but i found this great b&b.

okay, so let me get to the concert! since that is why you are reading...

what a day we had. so many things going on and then we top it off with these guys...

the stage - wow!

we were 40 feet from this guy! great seats! except we stood the whole time.

don't know if we will ever see this again - it was worth it. thanks kevin and kimberly.

here is my latest home decor. the pretty blue scribbles - it's an original. my interior decorator/artist is in the picture too. she is available for consultations. lovely!

mother's day

we have never really celebrate mother's day. i think everyday you should show gratitude for those who do so much for us. my family is told that they can't go all out. the most i want is a nap! but, this mother's day i got a very special gift from small fry. can you guess from this picture what it is? yep, it's that beautiful necklace you see me wearing! i wore it to church and got so many comments. what do you think? i loved that the necklace covered my stomach all day and i didn't have to hold it all in! and, yes, i finally cut my hair and donated 10 inches to locks of love!

so i was told that i am very behind on the blogging - all i can say is, yep!

spousal beatings - no, this is the work of a makeup artist (scout merit badge stuff, don't ask)...

loosing (4), growing (for them both) and brushing teeth...

jedi knight training and child care (sometimes at the same time)...

peak awards (excellence award and btw it was pajama day at school).

all in all it has been a pretty busy first quarter.

there, now i don't have to blog until halloween!!

making chocolates at our house can get a little out of control. see for yourself. so silly! actually it was mrs. potato head that did it. i'm surprised that the girls went along with it.
